However, it's a little old and has gathered some rust. I certainly don't want rust rubbing against my neck all night. Does anybody know how I can get it off? I have no idea what it is made of. Sorry. Also, it's a unique necklace so I don't want to throw it away. I doubt I'd find another like it.

Now, I have a couple questions. First, Can you make finger rings out of chain maille? Do you know where I can get instructions? Also, on some of the websites for chainmaille supplies I see rubber rings, what are they used for. I have a book on chain maille jewelry, but it doesn't mention the rubber rings. Help!! Thanks!

There appears to be gold filigree wiring in between the different sections of the design. The pendant is puffy and looks like a locket but is not because it is sealed with gold plating where the two pieces meet. I will try and leave a link for a photo.

You were ONLY allowed two earrings which had to be in your ears boys could not wear any. No facial piercings or tongue rings, no chains or bracelets, one ring that was it . if you had them they were taken and not returned even to a parent until the end of the year if you refused you were sent home unexcused absence if it happened again you were suspended Just wondering how you would feel about this?
